Elinor Nicholson

Elinor Nicholson is a professional harpist and a graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music.

Elinor is a beautiful harpist with an elegant style and plays both the concert pedal harp as well as the traditional Scottish lever harp (clarsach), which is perfect for smaller venues. Elinor has a wide repertoire, which ranges from Scottish traditional music, through to romantic and classical music. Elinor has performed in many prestigious venues; including the Royal Albert Hall as part of the Proms season, the Royal Glasgow Concert Hall and Edinburgh Castle.

Elinor is the perfect choice for timelessly romantic wedding entertainment – from the bride’s entrance to the guests’ exit. The harp is also a wonderfully elegant option for a relaxed background atmosphere at a wedding breakfast, drinks reception or dinner.

If you’ve been thinking about hiring a harpist, north west-based Elinor is on hand to provide you with a stunning soundtrack for your big day.

“Thank you so very much for playing some of the “less traditional” Music I asked for I LOVED walking into Metallica’s Nothing Else Matters being played beautifully by you, I’ll honestly never forget that!”
Chanie & Darren, Wedding

“I just wanted to say a big thank you for performing yesterday at our wedding! You really made the day special. I will not hesitate in recommending you to friends and family”
Jenny, Wedding

“I was a guest at my best friend’s very small and intimate wedding at Northcote. From the moment Elinor started to play, the happy tears started to flow. It was the most romantic and beautiful sound, such a perfect backdrop to a very beautiful wedding. All the modern songs played in a classical style were just incredible, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.”
