His background lies in musical theatre, in which he has been immersed his whole life. A leading role in the BTMC’s production of ‘Me and My Girl’ in 2014 led him to take the prize for ‘Best Leading Male’ for the National Operatic and Dramatic Association awards, with Lancashire Telegraph calling him ‘a revelation’ and ‘the real star of the show’, while NODA ‘adored his singing voice’.
A natural crowd pleaser, Nicholas is the perfect tonic at any ceremony or drinks reception – with his dulcet tones echoing the sounds of Sinatra, Van Morrison, Michael Bublé and a whole host of other famous crooners from their hey-day. For something more lively, Nicholas is at his best entertaining guests at any evening event, whether as a soloist, duo or with his band Vintage Swing Thing.
Nicholas is also DFC’s premier singing host, an encaptivating master of ceremonies who provides a classy backdrop to an engaging wedding breakfast – co-ordinating speeches, entertaining your guests and being your “go to guy” on the day. Nicholas takes the wedding breakfast to a whole new level by performing as he announces you into the room and entertaining guests, young and old, throughout the meal.
